A Victory for St. Mary Medical Center Nurses

Last week, nurses at St. Mary Medical Center in Pennsylvania went on a three day strike to protest unsafe working conditions. The St. Mary Medical Center responded by hiring outsiders and locking the nurses out.

However, the union nurses have defeated the lockout and are looking forward to returning to the bargaining table.

Contact St. Mary Medical Center and tel then you stand with the nurses.

It’s worth noting that outcomes for patients served in hospitals with unionized nurses are significantly better than those in non-union hospitals.
